- My name is Kate McLaughlin. I have put together this blog site as a means for posting information regarding happenings in our city. Over the past few years there have been a lot of rumors about corruption, unfortunately there is a lack of resources to access information regarding the rumors. I believe that government should be as it was intended "by the people and for the people". I don't buy into the mindset of this is how it has been or "they" have the power. We the citizens of South Amboy have more power than any elected official. We the citizens of South Amboy may be small town, but we are certainly not small minded. So when I hear a rumor or read something that just seems off to me, I research it. Regardless of a good or bad outcome I will put out what I have found with a reference list. I am not interested in bashing anyone I am interested in finding out what is true and what is not in a fact based research model.
HMmmm. Would be nice to see that 89 page letter now.
